Children’s Items FAQ

Are there any limits to the number of items allowed?

For newborn sizes thru 12 months the previous limits have been removed.

Junior girls sizes are limited to 10 hanging items. (This is sizes Junior 0-17)

Clothing items must be limited to the season represented by the sale (for example, for Fall/Winter sale we will only be accepting Fall and Winter clothes and shoes)

NO children’s DVDs will be accepted at this sale.

Can I put more than one item on a hanger?

Yes! For the smaller sizes, we highly recommend putting outfits together. Multiple shirt sets and pant sets sell well too!

I have maternity clothing, do you accept that?

We will accept a maximum of 10 hanging items.

Do you accept car seats?

Yes, read the seat’s user guide or look for the expiration date molded somewhere on the car seat. If you are unable to find one, NHTSA recommends a good rule-of-thumb is to retire seats after 6 years. We will require you to complete a Car Seat Declaration form. Click here for Declaration Form.

What types of toys do you accept?

We accept baby toys, toddler toys and older. Any electronic toy/game must have working batteries. All toys must be clean with no broken parts or missing pieces.

Do you accept board game, puzzles and crafts?

Yes! We accept board games and puzzles that contain all pieces. Craft kits, sewing kits, art supplies, etc. are all accepted. All these items sell best in their original packaging. If packaging isn’t in good shape, zip top bags are acceptable with clear packing tape to seal it closed. When attaching tags to boxes, consider using painter’s tape or masking tape so when shopper purchases item, the box won’t tear when the tag is removed.

Do you accept bedding?

Yes! We recommend that bedding sets be packaged in sturdy plastic bags (like the original bags comforters come in).

Can I use plastic hangers?

Plastic hangers are allowed only for infant clothing sizes. All other clothes must be on wire hangers. Plastic hangers in the larger sizes take up too much precious rack space!

What is the best way to tag shoes?

We recommend using zip ties or ribbons to tie shoes together. The printed tag can then be safety pinned thru the ribbon or zip tie. Place a piece of tape over the safety pin to discourage shoppers from attempting to take shoes apart. Shoes don’t sell well in shoeboxes or ziploc bags.

Do you accept books?

Yes! We love books! If selling multiple books in a series, do not put into a ziploc bag (customers like to look thru books), instead, secure them with ribbon (like you would tie on a package) and attach one tag to a book using painters or masking tape (will not damage the book).
